Looks HP RocketRaid 640L is the value one. Speed 6.0Gbps per SATA port

can't find this card in JD.

Our CDMR9460---RAID卡 9261-8i is still a great part. maybe Raid card not really improving.

Also LSI MegaRAID SAS 9211-8I is another great one, but this card need PCI port. Speed 8-port 6Gb/s SATA

If we need cheaper one with 2 SATA port we can choose HP RocketRaid 640L
But 9261-8i is a anchor point, cheaper means lower functional.

W1. extend the SATA ports?
W2. Using Raid card to raid some HDDs to get data redundancy?

我看天猫上9260-8i挺便宜的。LSI MegaRAID SAS 9260-8I 6GB 阵列卡
RAID卡主要用在4U机箱上。
RAID卡没有sata接口，所以不是扩展sata接口。
不是做冗余。主要让主板可以支持4U机箱24个盘位。

this perhaps supports only 4HDDs. If that's true, it's useless.
